Abstract:Objective To explore the value of CT-guided percutaneous puncture biopsy on patients with pancreas cancer. Methods 20 patients with pancreas cancer were performed percutaneous puncture biopsies 23 times under CT guidance. The biopsies were performed in pancreatic tumors or metastatic liver tumors. The sensitivity and clinical value were analyzed in all cases. Results The successful rate of puncture was 100% . 18 patients were diagnosed as malignant by puncture biopsy(90. 0% ). No serious complication occurred in all biopsies. Conclusions CT-guided percutaneous pancreatic biopsy is an effective and safe modality for confir-ming the pathologic diagnosis on patients with unresectable pancreatic cancer. So it is worth of promotion.
