Abstract:Among intracranial secondary malignant tumors, cystic metastatic brain tumors are relatively uncommon. In view of the large volume and obvious space-occupying effect of cystic metastatic brain tumors, the clinical symptoms of the patients with cystic metastatic brain tumors are relatively serious and their prognoses are relatively poor.At present, there is still a lack of a standard treatment regimen for cystic metastatic brain tumors. Therefore, optimizing treatment regimens to improve the patients' quality of life, prolong their survival period and improve their long-term prognoses has become an important issue of concern for clinicians. In this paper, the research progress in diagnosis and treatment of cystic metastatic brain tumors is reviewed.
