Abstract:Acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)is a life-threatening critical illness. In recent years, the role of nuclear receptor neuron-derived clone 77(Nur77)in pathogenesis of ARDS has gradually attracted attention.Nur77,as a nuclear transcriptional regulatory protein,is widely distributed in various tissues and cells. The expression of Nur77 is influenced by various external stimuli.Nur77 is involved in the pathophysiological processes of ARDS by regulating multiple mechanisms such as metabolic reprogramming, immune homeostasis balance, and inflammatory signal transduction. In this paper, the research progress in the role of Nur77 in pathogenesis of ARDS is reviewed.
