Abstract:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a common chronic airway disease with high prevalence and heavy disease burden. With the application of metagenome detection technology,it has been found that the lungs contain low-biomass microbiota, and gut microbiota and lung microbiota have a potential connection through the"gut-lung axis",and jointly participate in the development of COPD.Compared with healthy individuals,COPD patients have abnormal composition and function of lung microbiota and gut microbiota.Based on COPD and gut-lung microbiota interactions, the prevention and treatment of COPD by intervening the gut-lung microbiota have become a new therapeutic direction. In this paper, the distribution characteristics of gut-lung microbiota in COPD patients and the research progress of the mechanism of COPD and gut-lung microbiota interactions are summarized, providing new ideas for clinical diagnosis, treatment and research of COPD.
