Abstract:Chronic non-healing wounds refer to the type of wounds that cannot enter the normal wound healing process or have significantly delayed healing after 3 months of treatment. The healing process of such wounds is jointly inhibited by various factors such as infection, inflammatory response, ischemia and neuropathy.Traditional treatment methods are difficult to achieve ideal therapeutic effects for the patients.Autologous microskin grafting,as a rapidly developing technique in recent years,is widely used for the repair of chronic non-healing wounds due to its advantages of fast wound closure and large expansion scale. At present, there is still a lack of large-scale clinical data to verify the long-term effectiveness and wide applicability of microskin grafting. This paper provides a review of the research progress on the application of microskin grafting in treatment of chronic non-healing wounds.
