Research progress in treatment of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis

Abstract：Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis(ABPA)is an allergic pulmonary inflammatory disease caused by allergy to Aspergillus antigen(mainly Aspergillus fumigatus).ABPA is characterized by recurrent difficult-to-control wheezing,coughing,expectorating,significantly elevated serum total immunoglobulin E,and pulmonary infiltration and proximal bronchiectasis.The ABPA patients who are not treated promptly may develop progressive respiratory failure and even die.In this paper,the research progress in treatment of ABPA is reviewed.
