Interpretation of the updated Chinese Clinical Guidelines on Diagnosis and Treatment of Bone Metastasis of Lung Cancer(Version 2024)

Abstract：Chinese Clinical Guidelines on Diagnosis and Treatment of Bone Metastasis of Lung Cancer(Version 2024)were published in Chinese Journal of Clinical Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery in May 2024.The clinical guidelines were initiated by professor ZHI Xiuyi,professor WANG Jie,professor LIU Lunxu and professor ZHAO Jun,and were developed based on Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Bone Metastasis of Lung Cancer(2019 Version),with contributions from Lung Cancer Medical Education Committee of China Medicine Education Association,Youth Specialists Committee of Lung Cancer of Beijing Medical Award Foundation and Lung Cancer Specialty Committee of Chinese Aging Well Association.The guidelines incorporate the advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of bone metastasis of lung cancer in recent years and emphasize the need for comprehensive treatment under the guidance of multi-disciplines(including medical oncology,surgery,radiotherapy,interventional medicine,nuclear medicine and psychological rehabilitation).In this paper,the updated contents of the guidelines are interpreted to improve the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment levels of bone metastasis of lung cancer in China.
