Observation on the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen combined with Yangxue Jieyu Xingnao Decoction in treatment of sleep disorder patients after acute cerebral infarction

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with Yangxue Jieyu Xingnao Decoction on sleep quality of patients with sleep disorders after acute cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 160 patients with sleep disorders after acute cerebral infarction who were admitted to Hai'an People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were recruited.The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 80 cases in each group.The control group was given hyperbaric oxygen treatment,and the observation group was given hyperbaric oxygen combined with Yangxue Jieyu Xingnao Decoction treatment.Both groups were given continuous treatment for 4 weeks,and the therapeutic efficacy was compared between the two groups after the end of treatment.Results The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) rating scale scores and Epworth Sleepiness Scale(ESS) scores after treatment were lower than those before treatment in the two groups,and the PSQI scores and ESS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after treatment,and the total sleep time( TST) and rapid eye movement sleep time( RT) after treatment was longer than that before treatment in the two groups,and the sleep latency(SL) after treatment was shorter than that before treatment in the two groups,and the TST and RT in the observation group was longer than that in the control group,and the SL in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group after treatment.The serum levels of norepinephrine(NE) and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) after treatment were higher than those before treatment in the two groups,and the serum levels of NE and 5-HT in the observation group were higher than those in the control group after treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(93.75％ vs 78.75％;x2=7.589,P=0.006).During the treatment,there were no serious adverse reactions such as allergy,liver and kidney injury in both groups.Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen combined with Yangxue Jieyu Xingnao Decoction can effectively improve the sleep quality of patients with sleep disorders after acute cerebral infarction,and this combined treatment has good safety.
