Research progress on clinical application of triglyceride-glucose index

Abstract：Triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index is a biomarker of insulin resistance and is closely related to metabolic changes in human body.TyG index can be used as one of the indicators for the evaluation and prediction of some diseases.By monitoring the changes of TyG index,metabolic abnormalities can be detected,which is conducive to early inter-vention and treatment of diseases.Therefore,the TyG index has important clinical value.In this paper,the research progress on clinical application of TyG index is reviewed.
