Abstract:Objective To explore the characteristics of attention bias in Wilson's disease(WD)patients with depressive tendencies and its relationship with rumination. Methods A total of 51 WD patients admitted to Affiliated Hospital of Institute of Neurology,Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 were recruited.According to Beck Depression Inventory(BDI)scores, the patients were divided into depression group(≥5 points,30 cases)and non-depression group(≤4 points,21 cases). The results of Ruminative Responses Scale(RRS)scores and emotional Stroop paradigm were compared between the two groups, and the correlation between the observation indicators was analyzed. Results The dimension scores of rumination symptoms, introspection and forced thinking in RRS and the total scores of RRS in the depression group were higher than those in the non-depression group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The response time to negative words in the depression group was significantly longer than that in the non-depression group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the response time to neutral words and positive words between the two groups(P>0.05).In the WD patients, the response time to negative words was positively correlated with BDI scores, total RRS scores and the dimension scores of rumination symptoms in RRS(P<0.05),and there was no significant correlation of the response time to positive words and the response time to neutral words with BDI scores, total RRS scores and each dimension scores of RRS(P>0.05).The results of multi-factor linear regression analysis showed that BDI scores, total RRS scores and the dimension scores of rumination symptoms in RRS were the influencing factors of the response time of the WD patients to negative words(P<0.05).Conclusion The WD patients with depressive tendencies tend to pay too much attention to negative emotional information.Rumination may be one of the causes of negative emotional attention bias in the WD patients with depressive tendencies.
