Research progress on the factors affecting the effectiveness of night-wearing orthokeratology lens in prevention and control of myopia

Abstract：In the children and adolescents in China,the prevalence rate of myopia is relatively high,and it shows a trend of young age and high myopia in myopia patients.The methods for prevention and control of myopia include drug intervention,optical intervention,behavioral intervention and environmental intervention.Orthokeratology(OK)lenses are optical products that can effectively prevent and control myopia.Myopic patients can achieve good naked eye vision by wearing OK lens at night,without the need for wearing frame glasses during the day,and can effectively delay the growth of the axial length.In this paper,the research progress on the factors affecting the effectiveness of night-wearing orthokeratology lens in prevention and control of myopia is reviewed.
