Abstract:Macrophages,as an important component of the body's immune system, directly affect the host's ability to clear Mycobacterium tuberculosis(Mtb)through energy metabolism.Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)regulates the immune response to Mtb by influencing the energy metabolism pathway in macrophages, and plays an important role in the anti-tuberculosis immunity of macrophages. This paper reviews advances in the regulatory effect of HIF-1αon energy metabolism of macrophages during Mtb infection.
