Abstract:Sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy(SIC)is a reversible myocardial injury caused by sepsis. It is a non-ischemic acute cardiac dysfunction that can significantly increase the mortality rate of sepsis patients, and β1-receptor blockers have anti-stress,anti-oxidation,immune regulation and cell death inhibition effects, and have potential protec-tive effects on myocardia. This paper reviews the research progress in the effect of β1-receptor blockers on prevention and treatment of SIC.
