Abstract：The incidence of colorectal cancer is on the rise.As a precancerous lesion of colorectal cancer,color-ectal polyps have received extensive attention.Diabetes mellitus is a risk factor for intestinal polyps,which increases the risk of various tumors,including colorectal cancer,and affect people's physical health.In this paper,the research progress on the pathogenesis and carcinogenesis of colorectal polyps in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus is reviewed.
