The curative effect of metformin in combination with dyne-35 on the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome ;and on the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate

Abstract：Objective To observe the curative effect of metformin in combination with dyne-35 on the treat-ment of polycystic ovary syndrome and on the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate.Methods Sixty-eight patients with polycystic ovary syndrome in our hospital were randomly divided into group A and group B, with 34 cases in each group.Group A was given metformin combined with dyne-35 and then G′Finn after withdrawing the above medica-tion.Group B was given G′Finn treatment alone.Both of the two groups were treated with 80 circles.The ovulation rate and the pregnancy rate were compared between the two groups.Results Acne, amenorrhea and menstrual thin hair improved significantly in group A after the treatment(P<0.05), while hairy improvement was not obvious after the treatment(P>0.05).Reproductive endocrine hormones(FSH, LH, E2, T) of group A decreased obviously compared with those before the treatment(P<0.05).The similar results occurred in group B.There was no signifi-cant difference between group A and group B ( P >0.05 ) .The ovulation rate ( 72.50%) and pregnancy rate (32.35%) of group A were significantly higher than those of group B(53.75%, 8.82%)(P<0.05).Conclusion In patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, using metformin combined with dyne-35 treatment can effectively improve irregular menstruation, acne, and symptoms such as high androgen signs, adjust the reproductive endocrine hormone level inside body, significantly increase the ovulation rate and pregnancy rate.
