The clinical efficacy of drug combined with behavioral intervention therapy in the treatment of adult patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of drug combined with behavioral intervention therapy in the treatment of adult patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease ( GERD ) .Methods 100 adult patients with GERD were randomly divided into drug group and comprehensive group .The drug group was treated with conventional drugs ,and the comprehensive group was added the treatment of behavioral intervention therapy on the basis of conven -tional drugs.The changes of parameters in the two groups were analyzed before and after the therapy and the compli -ance was compared between the two groups .Results The symptoms were both improved in the two groups after 8 weeks′treatment .The symptoms in the comprehensive group were improved better than those in the drug group ( P<0.01 ) .The compliance of the drug group was better than that of the comprehensive group ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion Drug therapy combined with behavioral intervention is efficient for the treatment of GERD .
