The effect of Zhuangyi-Lianhuazhen-Beilangbaguan on S-IgE expression and the treatment of allergic rhinitis
Abstract：Objective To study the effectiveness of using Zhuangyi-Lianhuazhen-Beilangbaguan for treating allergic rhinitis( AR) .Methods Sixty patients with AR in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups( Lian-huazhen group and Fluticasone group) .The Lianhuazhen group had a acupuncture using Lianhuazhen and Fluticasone group used Fluticasone nasal spray with a course of treatment of 10 days, and two courses in together.Another course of treatment was resumed after drug withdrawl for one week.The efficacy and S-IgE were compared between the two groups.Results The efficacy of Lianhuazhen group was more notable than that of Fluticasone group.After the treat-ment, the expression levels of S-IgE in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the two groups before the treatment (P<0.05) and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05);No adverse reaction was found in the patients of the two groups.Conclusion The therapy of Zhuangyi-Lianhuazhen-Beilangbaguan is ef-fective and the therapeutic mechanism of inhibiting S-IgE expression may be involved in.
