Experience on diagnosis and treatment of 101 patients with acute pulmonary thromboembolism

Abstract：Objective To investigate the emergency procedures and prognosis of acute pulmonary thrombo -embolism.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 101 patients with acute pulmonary thromboembolism treated in the People′s Hospital of Zhengzhou from September 2004 to September 2013 .Results In 101 patients death was fund in 21 cases,vegetative state in 4 cases,cure in 76 cases.Conclusion Acute pulmonary thromboembolism has a higher mortality and morbidity .So it is necessary to pay high attention to its high risk popula-tion,focused on the prevention before embolization .
