Diagnosis and treatment on rupture and hemorrhage of primary liver cancer：analysis of 48 cases

Abstract：Objective To summarize the experience in diagnosis and treatment of rupture and hemorrhage of primary liver cancer M. ethods The clinical data was retrospectively analyzed in 48 patients who suffered from rup-ture and hemmorrhage of primary liver cancer .Results In 5 patients received conservative treatment , 4 patients ob-tained successful treatment ,one patient received hepatic artery embolization ( TAE) after conservative treatment .In 19 patients received TAE , 15 patients obtained successful treatment , 2 patients discharged voluntarily , 2 patients died of hepatic encephalopathy and liver and kidney failure .In 24 patients received surgical treatment , 20 patients obtained successful treatment , 4 patients died of liver and kidney failure , hepatic encephalopathy and hemorhagic shock .The total effective rate was 87.50%(42/48), the total mortality rate was 12.50%(6/48).Conclusion Fully assessing the disease condition and choosing the appropriate treatment method for the treatment of rupture and hemorrhage of primary liver cancer is important .
