Abstract:Objective To investigate the changes of serum homocysteine (HCY),cystatin C(CysC) and N-terminal probrain natriuretic peptide precursor ( NT-proBNP ) in patients with coronary heart disease and its clinical significance .Methods Hitachi 7100 automatic biochemical analyzer and FIA 8000 immunoassay analyzer were used to detect serum levels of HCY , CysC and NT-proBNP in 52 cases of coronary heart disease patients and 52 cases of healthy volunteers , and the results were statistically analyzed .Results Content of serum HCY and CysC and NT-proBNP in patients with coronary heart disease were significantly higher than those in healthy individuals ( all P<0.01 ) .Between myocardial infarction group and no myocardial infarction group there were a statistically significant difference in level of Hcy and NT-proBNP(P<0.05 or P<0.01),but there was no statistical significance in level of CysC(P>0.05).Conclusion Combined detection of serum HCY, CysC and NT-proBNP levels, has a ceitain guid-ing significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease .
