Treatment of pelvic fracture combined with abdominal organ injuries

Abstract： Objective To study the treatment for the pelvic fracture combined with abdominal organ inju-ries.Methods A retrospective analysis was perform on clinical data of 25 patients with severe pelvic fracture com-bined with abdominal organ injuries admitted to our department from 2000 to 2012.Results Among 25 patients, 23 underwent early stage surgery , 22 of them had followed up records , 12 patients of them gained excellent treatment outcomes, 10 gained good outcomes , three patients died, the excellent and good rate was 88%.Conclusion Early diagnosis and treatment of combined trauma after pelvic fracture can significantly increase the survival rate of patients with pelvic fractures combined with abdominal organ injuries .
