Observation on curative effect of xuemaitong capsule in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with hyperviscosity at stable stage
Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical curative effect and the change of hemorheology of xuemaitong capsule in the treatment of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with hyperviscosity at stable stage. Methods Sixty confirmed COPD patients with hyperviscosity were randomly into two groups. Thirty patients of the treated group were treated with the xuemaitong capsules. Another 30 patients of the control group were treated with aspirin enteric-coated tablets and theophylline sustained-release tablets. Pulmonary function and the changes of hemorheology were observed before and after treating for one month.Results The compared with the control group, the treated group was superior in the clinical effect, the improvement of pulmonary function and hemorheology (P<0.05). Conclusion Xuemaitong capsule can effectively improve the clinical curative effect and status of hemorheology in COPD patients with hyperviscosity, and delay the deterioration process of pulmonary function of the patients.
