Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of different interventions on the benefit finding(BF)of cancer patients. Methods A systematic search was conducted in PubMed,Cochrane Library,Embase,Web of Science,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,VIP,and China Biology Medicine disc for randomized controlled trials related to interventions aiming to improve BF in cancer patients, with the time setting from inception to September 2025.After screening and data extraction, the Cochrane risk of bias tool version 2.0 was used for quality assessment.STATA 16.0 were applied for network Meta-analysis.Results A total of 23 studies involving 2 407 cancer patients and six types of psychological and behavioral interventions were included. The network Meta-analysis showed that expressive writing was the most effective intervention for improving BF,followed by mindfulness-based interventions and emotional expression therapy. Conclusion All interventions can effectively improve the BF of cancer patients.Expressive writing is recommended for priority application in clinical practice due to its straightforward operation, low cost, strong applicability, and marked effectiveness.Furthermore, the long-term effects of cognitive-behavioral stress management and Yoga interventions warrant further exploration to provide more comprehensive psychological support for cancer patients.
