Abstract:Objective To study the effect of the structured activity combined with respiratory training in promoting early rehabilitation for patients undergoing ostomy surgery. Methods A total of 300 patients who underwent ostomy surgery between December 2022 and December 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 150.The control group received routine postoperative care, while the observation group underwent structured activity combined with respiratory training. The time of first postoperative flatus, bowel sound recovery time, hospital stay, complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results The time of first postoperative flatus, recovery time of bowel sounds and length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group(t=13.340,P<0.001;t=16.503,P<0.001;t=15.286,P<0.001).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(x2=8.910,P<0.001).Conclusion The structured activity combined with respiratory training can reduce the risk of complications, accelerate the recovery of intestinal function, demonstrating significant clinical value for widespread adoption.
