Application effect of demand card game combined with early rehabilitation nursing in patients with traumatic brain injury

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of the demand card game combined with early rehabilitation nursing in patients with traumatic brain injury.Methods A total of 240 patients with traumatic brain injury and admitted to the department of neurosurgery of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University between November 2023 and November 2024 were selected as the research subjects.The patients were grouped according to their admission order.Among them,120 patients admitted between November 2023 and May 2024 were set as the control group,while the rest were selected into the study group.Both groups received conventional care for early rehabilitation nursing for craniocerebral injury,while the study group was additionally provided with the demand card game intervention.Then,the degree of nerve injury,psychological resilience and self-care ability were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,the score of nerve injury degree in the study group was significantly lower than that of the control group(t=16.769,P＜0.001),while the scores of psychological resilience and self-care in daily life were significantly higher than the latter group(t=-19.847,P＜0.001;t=-12.247,P＜0.001).Conclusion The application of demand card game combined with early rehabilitation nursing in patients with craniocerebral injury can improve the neurological function of patients,enhance their psychological resilience and self-care ability in daily life.
