The application of continuous nursing based on WeChat mini-program in patients with PICC catheterization

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of continuous nursing based on WeChat mini-program in patients with tumor PICC catheterization.Methods By using the convenience sampling method,100 patients with tumor chemotherapy and admitted to Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital between April 2022 and April 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group by using the random number table method.Both groups received conventional intervention and follow-up,while the observation group was additionally provided with continuous care based on WeChat mini-program.Then,the self-management ability and the occurrence of PICC complications were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,the score of self-management ability in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t＝－5.265,P＜0.001),while the incidence of PICC complications was significantly lower than the latter(χ2＝4.166,P＝0.041).Conclusion The continuous nursing based on WeChat mini-program can improve the self-management ability of patients with tumor PICC catheterization and reduce their incidence of PICC complications.
