Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of group nursing based on the psychological capital intervention model on patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 120 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University between August 2022 and August 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group, each of 60,according to a random number table. Both groups received routine care, while the observation group additionally underwent group care based on the psychological capital intervention model. The psychological capital, blood glucose indicators and adverse pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention, the psychological capital score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=-6.130,P<0.001),and the fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin,as well as the incidence of adverse pregnancy were significantly lower than the latter(t=5.422,P<0.001;t=4.818,P<0.001;t=4.835,P<0.001;χ2 =11.368,P<0.001).Conclusion The group nursing based on the psychological capital intervention model can effectively enhance the positive psychological capital of patients with gestational diabetes, improve their blood glucose levels, and reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Therefore,it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
