Risk factors for fear of cancer recurrence among patients with lung cancer:a scoping review

Abstract：Objectives To identify the assessment tools and risk factors for fear of cancer recurrence(FCR)among lung cancer survivors.Methods A systematic search was conducted in databases including PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Wanfang Database,and China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)with the time setting from their inception until March 10,2024.Descriptive statistics and qualitative analysis were applied.Results A total of 24 studies were included,summarizing 4 assessment tools for FCR in lung cancer patients and 6 categories of risk factors,including sociodemographic factors,disease-related factors,psychological factors,behavioral factors,social support factors and other factors.Conclusion This study summarizes the assessment tools and influencing factors of FCR in lung cancer patients,providing an evidence-based foundation for healthcare professionals to manage FCR in this population.
