Best evidence summary for blood gas analysis collection and management in critically ill children

Abstract：Objective To evaluate and summarize evidence regarding blood gas analysis collection in critically ill children,so as to provide references for clinical practice.Methods Articles on blood gas analysis collection in critically ill children were searched in domestic and international databases,guideline networks and relevant professional websites,with the time setting from inception to June 30,2023.Results A total of 6 articles were included,covering 1 clinical decision,2 guidelines,2 evidence summaries and 1 group standard.Finally,18 pieces of evidence were found,grouped into 6 aspects of assessment preparation,blood collection routes and methods,blood vessel selection,disinfection,sample handling and quality control.Conclusion The best evidence collected in this study can be used for standardized clinical practice management.
