Abstract:Objective To analyze the risk factors of residual pain after vertebral augmentation in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture by systematic review. Methods The articles in PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,Wanfang Database,VIP Web,and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database were searched to identify the risk factors of residual vertebral pain after reinforcement in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture, with the time setting from inception till October 31,2024.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.2 software. Results Eighteen articles were included. The results of meta-analysis showed that the risk factors were thoracolumbar fascial injury[OR=3.40,95%CI(2.67,4.33)],intravertebral vacuum cleft[OR=2.94,95%CI(2.09,4.12)],low bone mineral density[OR=1.82,95%CI(1.27,2.60)],decreased body mass index[OR=1.08,95%CI(1.03,1.14)],unsatisfactory bone cement distribution[OR=2.17,95%CI(1.75,2.71)],postoperative complications[OR=4.27,95%CI(2.86,6.38)],paravertebral muscle degeneration[OR=6.49,95%CI(4.03,10.47)],postoperative vertebral height recovery rate[OR=1.09,95%CI(1.04,1.15)]and multiple vertebral fractures[OR=3.13,95%CI(2.07,4.73)].Conclusion Residual pain in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture after vertebral reinforcement is affected by many risk factors, and medical staff should take targeted preventive and therapeutic measures to reduce its incidence.
