Feedforward risk control nursing intervention based on the feedforward risk control in mechanically ventilated patients with severe pneumonia

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of feedforward risk control nursing in patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation.Methods By using the convenience sampling method,60 severe pneumonia patients undergoing mechanical ventilation and admitted to the intensive care unit of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Xiamen University in 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,each of 30,according to their admission order.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received feedforward risk control nursing.The incidence of complications,mechanical ventilation time,ICU stay time and total hospital stay time were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(x2=7.680,P=0.006),while the durations of the mechanical ventilation,ICU stay and total hospital stay were significantly shorter than the latter(t=7.432,P＜0.001;t=7.959,P＜0.001;t=7.013,P＜0.001).Conclusion The feedforward risk control nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of mechanical ventilation complications in severe pneumonia patients and promote their rehabilitation.
