Abstract:Objective To explore the application of active respiratory cycle exercise under the nurse-patient consensus mode for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods Ninety-six COPD patients treated in Chongqing ninth people's hospital between October 2022 and October 2023 were selected, and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 48,according to a random number table. The control group conducted routine pulmonary function exercise, while the observation group underwent the active respiratory cycle exercise based on the nurse-patient consensus mode. The exercise compliance, respiratory function and life quality were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the exercise compliance, peak respiratory flow rate, forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),forced vital capacity(FVC)and FEV1/FVC of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=-13.525,P<0.001;t=-10.044,P<0.001;t=-4.021,P<0.001;t=-7.157,P<0.001;t=-3.780,P<0.001),while the life quality of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(t=6.225,P<0.001).Conclusion Active respiratory and circulatory exercise under the nurse-patient consensus model can effectively improve functional exercise compliance in COPD patients, promote their respiratory function and enhance their life quality.
