Research progress on risk factors and prediction model of subsyndromal delirium among critical patients

Abstract:Subsyndromal delirium is a common complication among critical patients,which is prone to cause adverse outcomes such as impaired cognitive function,prolonged hospital stay and mechanical ventilation time,decreased life quality,increased mortality and medical costs.This article analyzes its risk factors,including the sociodemographic,disease-related factors,treatment-related factors,psychological factors and potential ones.Moreover,it summarizes the existing subsyndromal delirium prediction models at home and abroad,aiming to promote medical staff's understanding of the relevant risk factors and provide a basis for formulating early intervention plans.
