Abstract:Objective To analyze the research hotspots and development trends of self-regulating fatigue(SRF)in the medical field. Methods Articles on SRF were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Data,VIP Database,China Biomedical Literature Database and Web of Science Core collection database, with the time setting between January 1,2013 and July 2,2024.Then,the Citespace software was applied to conduct visual analysis of the publishing countries, authors, and high-frequency keywords. Results A total of 95 Chinese and 52 English articles were included. The overall publication volume of studies on SRF status in the medical field demonstrated a steady upward trend.Research hotspots primarily focused on the influencing factors of SRF among chronic patients and nurses. Moreover, the psychological mechanisms and theoretical model construction of SRF had emerged as a significant trend in the future research endeavors. Conclusion Future research should strengthen multi-national and interdisciplinary collaboration,so as to provide a basis for developing individualized intervention and health management strategies.
