Progress of clinical application of medicinal stick therapy in stroke survivors with sequelae

Abstract：The medicinal stick therapy,a combination of massage,acupoint stimulation and medication herbs,is a long-established and characteristic external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine,and has an obvious therapeutic effect on various post-stroke sequelae.This paper reviews the medicinal stick therapy and its application in treating common post-stroke sequelae,such as hemiparesis,dysphagia,motor aphasia,and constipation,so as to find an effective and easy-to-operate treatment method for the treatment of patients.
