Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of failure mode and effect analysis in perioperative transport management of patients. Methods Totally 468 patients admitted to the affiliated hospital of Jinggangshan university between March and April 2024 were selected as the control group, while another 496 treated between May and June 2024 were chosen into the research group. The control group received the routine transport procedure, while the research group adopted the improved transport procedure of failure mode and effect analysis. The risk priority index of failure mode, waiting time and incidence of adverse transport events were compared between the two groups. Results The risk priority index of all failure modes and the incidence of adverse transport events in the research group were significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05;x2=8.886,P=0.003),while the waiting time of the former group were significantly shorter than the latter group(t=21.530,P<0.001).Conclusion Transfer management based on failure mode and effect analysis can reduce the risk of failure mode, shorten the waiting time and reduce the incidence of adverse transport events.
