Effects of behavioral stage nursing combined with peer education on negative emotion and self-care ability of patients with uremia hemodialysis

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of behavioral stage nursing combined with peer education on patients with uremia hemodialysis.Methods Ninety patients with uremic hemodialysis and admitted to the hemodialysis room of Jiujiang first people's hospital between January 2022 and January 2024 were selected,and divided into a control group and an observation group,each of 45,according to a random number table.Both groups received routine nursing,while the observation group was additionally provided with behavioral stage nursing and peer education.After 3 mouths of the intervention,the psychological status and self-care ability were compared between the two groups.Results After 3-month intervention,the anxiety and depression scores of the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group(t=4.631,P<0.001;t=7.843,P<0.001),while the score of self-care ability was significantly higher than the latter(t=10.700,P<0.001).Conclusion Behavioral stage nursing combined with peer education can alleviate negative emotions,and improve the self-care ability.
