Abstract:Objective To analyze the mediating effect of family resilience between family intimacy and post-traumatic growth in patients with permanent stoma. Methods Convenient sampling method was used to select 232 patients who underwent permanent stoma in the author's hospital between June 2021 and June 2023.They were surveyed using a general data questionnaire, family resilience assessment scale(FRAS),family cohesion scale(FCS)and post-traumatic growth inventory(PTGI).Results The FRAS score of patients with permanent stoma was(168.27±43.01)points.The FRAS score was positively correlated with the FCS and PTGI score(r=0.760,P<0.001;r=0.804,P<0.001).Moreover,the FCS score was positively correlated with PITG score(r=0.824,P<0.001).The family resilience played a partial mediating effect between family cohesion and post-traumatic growth with a mediation effect value of 0.352,accounting for 44%of the total effect. Conclusion The patient's family resilience is below the average level, and plays a partial mediating role between family cohesion and post-traumatic growth. Therefore, the medical staff should actively evaluate family resilience of patients to improve their post-traumatic growth level.
