A qualitative study on the current work status and management of nurses in job rotation within multi-district hospitals

Abstract:Objective To understand the current situation of nurses in a multi-district rotation model,so as to provide references for future coordinated management.Methods Eighteen nurses were given semi-structured interviews and the data were analyzed using thematic analysis.Results In such rotation model,the nurses'work status was affected by the commuting time,departmental atmosphere,departmental manpower structure,working duration,salary distribution and the smoothness of medical service process.Conclusion Managers should unify the cognition of middle-level nursing managers on the collaborative management of multiple hospitals,improve the personnel rotation mechanism,allocate the nursing manpower structure proportionally,optimize the incentive mechanism,implement personalized management,and build an integrated satisfaction monitoring platform to improve nurses'satisfaction and nursing service quality,and reduce nurse turnover.
