Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing based on the 4R crisis management theory in the management of total knee arthroplasty(TKA)patients with kinesiophobia. Methods A total of 132 TKA patients with kinesiophobia and admitted to the first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou university between August 2023 and February 2024 were enrolled as research subjects by using a convenience sampling method. They were divided into an observation group and a control group, each of 66,according to random number table method. After total knee arthroplasty, the observation group was given comprehensive nursing based on the 4R crisis management, while the control group only received routine nursing care. The scores of kinesiophobia, knee function and pain of 2 groups within twelve hours after the operation and on the day of discharge. Results After the intervention, the kinesiophobia and pain scores of the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group(t=7.290,P<0.001;t=7.552,P<0.001),while the score of knee function was significantly higher than the latter(t=-9.690,P<0.001).Conclusion The comprehensive nursing interventions based on the 4R crisis management theory can effectively reduce the risk of kinesiophobia and pain in patients after total knee arthroplasty, and promote their recovery.
