The application of virtual simulation teaching platform in the training of radiology nurses

Abstract：Objective To explore the application of virtual simulation teaching platform in the training of radiology nurses.Methods Radiology 60 nurses from 2 districts of the author's hospital were selected.Thirty radiology nurses trained in the main area were selected into a control group,while another 30 trained in the Fuwai area were chosen into an observation group.Both groups were given routine training,while the observation group was additionally provided with training on the virtual simulation teaching platform.Then theoretical and practical skills,self-directed ability,nursing core ability with training were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the theoretical and practical skill scores of the observation group were better than that of the control group(t=9.593,P＜0.001;t=7.572,P＜0.001),while the total score of self-directed ability and core ability of nurses were higher than the latter group(t=35.617,P＜0.001;t=19.116,P＜0.001).Conclusion Training based on virtual simulation teaching platform can effectively enhance the self-directed learning ability of radiology nurses,contributing to the improvement of their theoretical and practical skills,as well as core competence of nursing.
