Application of H2H nutrition management in IBD patients

Abstract：Objective To explore the application of H2 H nutrition management in IBD patients.Methods Fifty-two IBD patients treated in the gastroenterology department of the central hospital of Wuhan from May to August of 2022 were selected into a control group,while another 52 patients treated in the following four months were chosen into an observation group.Both groups were given routine nutritional support,while the observation group was additionally provided with H2 H nutrition management.Then the upper arm circumference,body mass index(BMI),hemoglobin and albumin concentrations were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 moths of intervention,the upper arm circumference,BMI,hemoglobin and albumin concentrations of the observation group were higher than that of the control group(t=-3.135,P=0.002;t=-2.448,P=0.016;t=-2.973,P=0.004;t=-3.299,P=0.001).Conclusion The application of H2 H nutrition management can effectively improve the nutritional indicators of stable IBD patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
