Nursing care of a very low birth weight infant with limb artery thrombosis after radial artery catheterization

Abstract:Objective This article summarized the nursing experience of a case of extremity artery thrombosis caused by transradial catheter in a very low birth weight infant.It mainly includes early identification,local wet hot compress with nitroglycerin to dilate blood vessels,anticoagulation of low molecular weight heparin sodium,urokinase thrombolysis,combined with oxygen blowing,wet compress with magnesium sulfate and other comprehensive nursing measures.Through targeted treatment and intensive care.The blood circulation of the affected limb was restored,the finger color and finger activity were restored to normal,and the patient was discharged after 33 d recovery.
