The Chinesization of the compulsory citizenship behavior scale and its validity and reliability among clinical medical staff

Abstract:Objective To explore the Chinesization of the compulsory citizenship behavior scale(CCBS)and test its reliability and validity among the clinical medical staff.Methods The English version of the compulsory citizenship behavior scale was translated and back-translated,and adjusted cross-culturally to form the Chinese version of the CCBS.Then 244 medical staffs were surveyed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version.Results The Cronbach'α of Chinese CCBS was 0.820,and its retest reliability was 0.890.The content validity index of each item ranged from 0.833 to 1.000,with the average content validity index of the scale being 0.967.One common factor was extracted from exploratory factor analysis,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 58.164%.Conclusion The Chinese-version CCBS has good reliability and validity,and can be applied in assessing CCB of clinical medical staff.
