Summary of the best evidence for dysphagia management of stroke survivors

Abstract：Objective To retrieve,evaluate and summarize the best evidences for the management of dysphagia among stroke survivors.Methods The evidence of dysphagia management of stroke survivors was searched in databases including UpToDate,BMJ,JBI,Embase,National Guideline Clearinghouse,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,PubMed and CINAHL,as well as China Biology Medicine(CBM),China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Wanfang data.The retrieval period was January 2018 to March 2023.The literatures were screened,quality evalvated,evidence extracted and summarized.Results A total of 32 articles were found,yielding 44 pieces of best evidence covering eight aspects of multidisciplinary collaboration,dysphagia screening and assessment,dysphagia nutritional management,treatment and rehabilitation,prevention of complications,health education,personnel training,and patient follow-up.Conclusion The best evidence summarized in this study offers evidence-based support for clinical practice.
