Palliative care of a patient with pancreatic cancer based on memory specific training therapy

Abstract：This paper summarizes the experience of hospice care for a patient with end-stage pancreatic cancer based on life review therapy and memory specific training.The key points of nursing include symptomatic care,family meeting,autobiographical life review combined with specific memory training,death education,specific memory reproduction and Chinese emotional therapy.Such intervention provided the patient and his families with comprehensive physical,psychological and social care and relieved the patient's fear of death,as well as his family members'acceptance of the death and their grief.
