Comfort level of patients with chronic renal failure during dialysis and its influencing factors

Abstract:Objective To explore the comfort level of patients with chronic renal failure(CRF)during dialysis and its influencing factors.Methods Totally 160 CRF patients who underwent dialysis treatment at the author's hospital between May 2020 and March 2023 were selected,and surveyed using a self-made general information questionnaire,a hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS),Kolabca simplified comfort questionnaire(GCQ),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and the social support rating scale(SSRS).Results The GCQ score of 160 CRF patients was 65.28±6.84,and multiple linear regression analysis showed that the years of receiving dialysis,complications,psychological status,sleep quality,and social support were its influencing factors(R2 = 0.613,Δ R2 =0.601,F=48.821,P<0.001).Conclusion The comfort level of CRF patients during dialysis is low,which is influenced by factors such as dialysis age,complications,psychological status,sleep quality,and social support.Therefore,targeted nursing can be provided to improve their comfort.
