Abstract:Objective To analyze the self acceptance level and pelvic floor functional exercise in patients with endometrial carcinoma after total hysterectomy, and explore their relationship. Methods Totally 60 patients with endometrial carcinoma who underwent total hysterectomy between January 2019 and December 2022 were selected as research object.Three months after surgeries, they were surveyed their self-acceptance level, pelvic floor function and coping style using the self-acceptance questionnaire(SAQ),the pelvic floor distress inventory-short form 20(PFDI-20)and the medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ).Results Three months after the surgeries, the total SAQ score and PFDI-20 score were 32.25±4.18 and 126.35±10.24,respectively.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that, there was a statistically significant association between self-acceptance level and pelvic floor function score(β=-1.403,P<0.001),after adjusting for age, coping styles, education level, the beginning time of rehabilitation, marital status, times of vaginal delivery and pregnancies. Conclusion The pelvic floor dysfunction is more severe in patients with endometrial cancer after total hysterectomy. The level of self-acceptance can affect the degree of pelvic floor dysfunction in patients, and medical staff can reduce the degree of pelvic floor dysfunction by increasing the patients'level of self-acceptance.
