The application effect of AIDET communication combined with sleep intervention in liver cancer patients undergoing transcatheter arterial chemoembolization

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of AIDET communication combined with sleep intervention in liver cancer patients undergoing transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE).Methods Among 112 liver cancer patients undergoing TACE in the first 8 months of 2022,those admitted in the first 5 months were selected into the control group(n=58),while those treated in the following 3 months were chosen into the study group(n= 54).Both groups were received AIDET communication+routine nursing,while the study group was additionally provided with sleep intervention.Before and after the intervention,both groups were compared their negative emotions,pain and sleep quality.Results After the intervention,the anxiety,depression and pain scores of the study group were significantly lower than that of the control group(t=11.258,P＜0.001;t=10.913,P＜0.001;t=40.480,P＜0.001),while the scores on all dimensions of the sleep quality of the former were significantly higher than the latter(all P＜0.05).Conclusion The AIDET communication combined with sleep intervention can effectively improve the psychological status of patients with liver cancer undergoing TACE,alleviate their postoperative pain and improve sleep quality,which is of clinical promotion value.
