Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of motor imagination(MI)therapy combined with hyperbaric oxygen(HBO)on motor function and self-care of hemiplegias after cerebral infarction(CI).Methods A total of 86 patients with hemiplegia after CI and treated in our hospital between January 2020 and November 2022 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group, each of 43,according to a random number table. Both groups received routine rehabilitation intervention and HBO,while the observation group was additionally provided with MI therapy. Then both groups were evaluated exercise function and self-care using the Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)and modified Bathel index(MBI).Results After the intervention, the upper, lower limbs and total FMA scores of the observation group were significantly higher than that of the control group(t=3.057,P=0.003;t= 5.191,P<0.001;t=4.504,P<0.001),while the MBI of the former was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=2.593,P=0.011).Conclusion MI therapy combined with HBO can improve motor function and self-care of stroke survivors with hemiplegia,it's worthy of clinical qpplication.
